Ross Taylor set a new lap record on the way to winning both the supermotard and the GP125 classes at round 2 of the QLD Moto Road Race series held at Townsville on the 5th of September 2009. Ross broke the lap record twice aboard his CLAKE equipped Rising Sun Honda CRF450R. Ross also was a full second a lap faster than his previous best at this track aboard his Rising Sun Moriwaki MDH which had recently also been fitted with CLAKE combined clutch brake system.
